MUMBAI: Life Insurance Corp of India has acquired about 1.49 million
shares, or 0.35 per cent stake, in state-run Vijaya Bank to raise its
stake to 5.32 per cent.
Shares in Vijaya Bank on Monday were trading at Rs 52.65, up 1.25 per
cent in the Mumbai market.
