Jindal Drilling wins Rs 660cr ONGC contract
Jindal Drilling & Industries has been awarded a contract worth Rs 660 crore for newly built jackup rig, Discovery - I, by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The said rig is under construction at Keppel Fels Shipyard at Singapore and is expected to be delivered in September 2008 and will be deployed for operation under this contract immediately thereafter.
BHEL bags Rs 150cr gas turbine order from UAE
The country's largest power equipment manufacturing firm Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has won an export contract worth Rs 150 crore for supplying two gas turbine generating units of 42 MW each to a United Arab Emirates (UAE) firm.

Jaiprakash Associates today announced a 15.5% rise in net profit of Rs 104 crore for the quarter ended September 2007 as against Rs 90 crore in the corresponding period last year.The company's Q2FY08 total income moved up 14% to Rs 922 crore when compared with Rs 808 crore in the same quarter last year.
