NTPC inks MoU for power project in Aurangabad



Government owned National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bihar government and The Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) to forge a joint venture for establishing and operating a 3X660 MW coal based thermal power project at Nabinagar, Aurangabad.

While BSEB would be allotted 75%, of the power, NTPC would be free to supply the rest to other states.

NTPC informed the BSE that the agreement was signed on Sunday.
