RCom Q2 net zooms 86% to Rs 1,304cr
Reliance Communications today reported a 86% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,304.57 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 702.34 crore in Q2FY07.
According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased 30% to Rs 4,578.53 crore from Rs 3,525.98 crore in Q2FY07.
The company, on a stand-alone basis, has posted a profit after tax of Rs 801.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as against Rs 461.72 crore in Q2FY07. Total income increased to Rs 3,329.21 crore from Rs 2,838.72 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
Bharti Airtel Q2 net up 6.77% at Rs 1614 cr
Bharti Airtel has come out with second quarter numbers. It has posted net profit of Rs 1614 crore for the quarter ended September 2007 as against Rs 1,511.6 crore in previous quarter, a growth of 6.77%. (US GAAP)
Net sales increased by 7.32% to Rs 6,337 crore from Rs 5,904.6 crore (QoQ, US GAAP). EBITDA margin improved to 42.76% versus 41.43%.
